MANILA, Philippines – Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza are planning to have another child.
The couple hopes to give their daughter Jayda a younger sibling now that she's 12 years old.
“Sabi niya kasi sa akin kapag hindi ako tumakbo mag-baby na kami,” Dingdong said, referring to what his wife Jessa said about having another child, in an interview on Wednesday. He won’t run for third re-election as Siquijor vice governor in the 2016 elections.
Although she agrees with her husband, Jessa said she wants to plan things well before trying to get pregnant again.
“Siyempre pinaplano ang lahat ng bagay,”she said. “May mga things na sabi ko nga pinagpaplanuhan at sineseryoso talaga natin. Kasi serious matter ‘yon, e.”
While they’re still deciding on when is the “right time” for them, Jessa and Dingdong are focusing on their respective music careers.
Jessa will be holding a solo concert, her first after 13 years. Meanwhile, Dingdong hopes to do a concert tour.
“Masyado akong maraming iniisip no’n and si Jaydah maliit pa no’n. Now she’s twelve na so hindi ko na masyadong alagain. Mas magkakaro’n ako ng focus sa ibang bagay na gusto kong gawin,”Jessa said about doing a solo concert again.
The show, which also serves as her birthday concert, is titled “I Am Me,” which will happen on Jan. 15, 2016 at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan City.
As for Dingdong, “I want to move on to other things for now, especially nga my daughter is growing up. At the same time I want to focus on my singing career as well.”
The couple would also want to focus on the music career of their daughter, who will be the opening act for the concert of the international group The Vamps on January 30, 2016.
