Pinoy group 4th Impact makes it to top 11 of 'X Factor UK'

Pinay vocal group 4th Impact is saved from elimination during the first elimination show of "X Factor UK." 

MANILA, Philippines — The musical journey of 4th Impact continues.

The All-Filipino girl group was saved from elimination and is part of the top 11 of the British reality talent show "X Factor UK.

The program's first results show aired on Sunday night in the United Kingdom (Monday morning, Philippine time).

Bupsi Brown (from the Over 25 category) and Alien Uncovered (from the Groups category) were the first acts eliminated from this season's "X Factor UK."

In a twist to the competition, Bupsi, the contestant with the fewest number of public votes, was immediately eliminated from the competition. Meanwhile, Alien Uncovered, also an all-female vocal group, had to face off with Kiera Weathers in the Bottom Two sing-off.

With Alien Uncovered's elimination, 4th Impact and Reggie n Bollie are the last two finalists from the Groups category in the competition.

Eleven finalists remain in the competition.

Composed of sisters Mylene, Celina, Irene and Almira Cercado, 4th Impact (formerly known as 4th Power) performed Ariana Grande's hit "Problem" for the show's first live performance week. — Chuck Smith
