MANILA, Philippines - Many hearts were warmed when Maine Mendoza reached out to a certain senior citizen who waited six hours in line to get  "Tamang Panahon" tickets, only to find out that there's no more left.

The lolo's story was first told by a fan-made account, Perfect TiMeng on October 18.  According to the post, the old man endured long hours of waiting instead of getting a special treatment because he wanted to be fair to all those who wanted to buy tickets.

The story went viral, catching the "kalyeserye" star's attention.

Maine took to Twitter to share the old man's story and ask about whether anyone can direct him to the senior citizen.

With the help of the AlDub Nation, she found lolo Lawrence Dy, a 64-year-old seaman.

According to a GMA news report,  Dy only wanted general admission tickets and he was really surprised when someone called in behalf of Maine to tell him that she is giving him two VIP tickets.

The much-anticipated "Tamang Panahon" episode of Eat Bulaga's kalyesere will take place at the Philippine Arena on October 24, Saturday.
