MMFF 2014 11-day box office hits P854M

MANILA, Philippines - The 40th Metro Manila Film Festival has earned P854 million in the box office as of January 4.

This is according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino. 

He added that “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” “Feng Shui 2“ and “My Big Bossing” are the top three grossing movies of this year’s MMFF. 

Meanwhile, “English Only, Please” remains in fourth place in terms of box office.

Film companies and stars have separately announced the gross of their MMFF entries. 

The official Facebook page of “English Only, Please” announced that the box office gross of the romantic-comedy movie has reached P100 million.

In her Instagram account, “Feng Shui 2“ star Kris Aquino announced her movie earned P200.8 million as of Sunday.

The annual movie fest ends this week, but the top grossing films from the festival are extended to extend their run until next week.
