MANILA, Philippines - Isabelle Daza explained on Monday night that she wanted "tro try a new challenge" by moving from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN.
“Lumipat ako dito dahil I wanted to try new challenge, it's a new chapter of my life at I want to focus on acting and hone that craft,” she said in an interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Monday.
Isabelle signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN on Monday, which was attended by some ABS-CBN executives.
She will be working with Gerald Anderson and Shaina Magdayao in the upcoming TV series “Nathaniel,” which is planned to air early 2015.
Isabelle said she wanted to work with Gerald after watching the film “On The Job,” where the Kapamilya actor starred.
“Nakita ko siya from Pinoy Big Brother na may accent, Am-boy. I recently watched On The Job directed by Erik Matti and he really transformed. He was an actor, a man,” she said.
Isabelle is already getting some acting tips from her mother, former beauty queen Gloria Diaz. She said that her mother would tell her to “say it with your eyes, even if you don't have to say anything.”
