Bamboo’s show at Robinsons

MANILA, Philippines - This Christmas, Robinsons Malls presents Bamboo (photo) in a grand musical show. Witness how far Bamboo has gone, from his rough beginnings in the ’90s to fronting the biggest band during the naughties, to finally coming to his own as a solo artist.

The rock star will perform at select Robinsons Malls for special Christmas shows. On Dec. 12, he will be at Robinsons Place Manila, followed by a performance at Robinsons Galleria on Dec. 13. He will wrap up the special on Dec. 21 at Robinsons Magnolia.

For his performances, Bamboo will not just be jamming with the talented band of musicians — including guitarist Kakoy Legaspi, pianist Ria Osorio and drummer Jun Jun Regalado — that he specifically put together for his first solo album, the outstanding No Water No Moon.

Instead, and indeed a testament to his elegant growth as an artist, Bamboo will also play with a 12-piece orchestra, for a one-of-a-kind experience.

It will be such a musical pleasure to hear Bamboo’s unique infusion of rock, pop, jazz and bluegrass melodies — the singer’s so called “own personal church of music” — the way he has always envisioned it to be. The energy that each instrumentalist brings to the stage intertwines with Bamboo’s stage presence to make each performance unique and unforgettable.
