MANILA, Philippines - It’s uncertain if Sen. Bong Revilla (left) will be allowed by Sandiganbayan (where the plunder case against him and fellow Senators Jinggoy Estrada, right, and Juan Ponce-Enrile is being tried) a few hours out of Camp Crame to visit the grave of his mother, former LVN star Aurora Ortiz.
Bong insists that all his earnings are from showbiz, mostly from movies that he himself produced through the family-owned company Imus Productions and from his TV shows (the last one having been Kap’s Amazing Stories on GMA).
At Camp Crame which has been home to him and Jinggoy for five months now, Bong is comforted by family (led by his wife, Congresswoman Lani Mercado) and friends (Phillip Salvador, Tirso Cruz III, Lorna Tolentino, Marichu ‘Manay Ichu’ Maceda and Lolit Solis among them) who regularly visit them.
The loneliest time is when visitors leave and Bong and Jinggoy are with just themselves in their separate rooms.
