PAMI stands behind Lovi Poe

MANILA, Philippines - Director Erik Matti recently went ballistic on social media, accusing Lovi Poe of unprofessionalism when she refused to reprise her role (as Dingdong Dantes’ leading lady) in Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles sequel, requiring her to shoot for not more than two days. Direk Erik used strong language, including a four-letter word. He said that Lovi was violating a contract she signed with Reality Entertainment, the company he co-owns with Dondon Monteverde. Dingdong is a co-producer on Tiktik.

In a recent PAMI (Professional Artists Managers, Inc.) meeting, of which Lovi’s manager Leo Dominguez is a member, the members discussed issues which included the social media tirade of Erik against not just Lovi but also Leo.

Here’s the official PAMI statement on the matter:

After a careful deliberation, PAMI expressed its support for Dominguez and condemned the reckless, arrogant and vulgar statements of Matti in his social media account.
