MANILA, Philippines- Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero are engaged.
The engagement happened Saturday night.
Makeup artist Albert Kurniawan was able to capture the moment when Escudero was on his knees, while Heart was obviously moved by the proposal.
In previous interviews, Heart said that she’s ready to marry Escudero and said that they’re getting on the marrying stage.

The actress also said that marrying the senator doesn’t mean she’ll be leaving showbiz.
“I've really missed a lot of things. Growing up I didn't get to travel much, I missed college, a normal life. So definitely 'yong chapter na 'yon ng buhay ko I really want to experience,” she said.
