MANILA, Philippines - Regine Velasquez will share the stage with Gary Valenciano for the first time after over 20 years in the highly-anticipated repeat of ARISE Gary V 3.0 happening tonight at SM MOA Arena. The two OPM stars are expected to render a duet that will be a classic in the local concert circuit.
For the past 30 years, the music of Gary V has been revered and celebrated as certified OPM classics that have touched the hearts of millions of Filipinos the world over. In the ’80s, Gary soared high in the music scene as singer/songwriter/arranger of such hits as Sana Maulit Muli, Di Bale Na Lang, Each Passing Night (a duet with Regine), What More Can I Say, Take Me Out Of The Dark and Narito.
Gary further solidified his position in the upper echelons of the music industry in the ’90s with Shout For Joy, Gaya Ng Dati, Until Then (his tribute to the late Bella Tan of Universal Records), Muli, Sa Yahweh Ang Sayaw and Everybody Get Down.
In the upcoming repeat of his 30th anniversary concert, fans can look forward to an evening of beautiful music as Mr. Pure Energy documents his career with his awe-inspiring songs. The two-hour musical extravaganza will be co-directed by Paolo Valenciano. As a hint, fans can look forward to Gary reprising his performance with rocker Rico Blanco of Babalik Ka Rin.
Also guesting are his other kids Gab and Kiana, Iya Villania, The Manoeuvres, AKA JAM, LSDC Street, Tom Taus, DJ Papi and Sam Concepcion.
