MANILA, Philippines - Zsa Zsa Padilla opens the third quarter of 2014 with a series of exciting projects beginning with her newest TV show on ABS-CBN: The third season of the reality-based talent search for kids Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp, which airs Saturday mornings after Spongebob Square Pants.
For over 25 years, Promil Pre-School has been advocating the development of the Filipino children’s talents with the help of their parents, proper care and proper nutrition. In line with the advocacy, the i-Shine Talent Camp aims to help exceptionally talented pre-schoolers develop their full potential. Aside from the extensive workshops, the roles of parents and proper nutrition will also play a big part in nurturing the pre-schoolers’ gifts to mastery.
Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp Year 3 is hosted by Dimples Romana, Matteo Guidicelli and Xian Lim. Zsa Zsa is chosen as one of this year’s mentors along with Georcelle Dapat-Sy and Angel Locsin. A veteran singer, recording artist and concert performer whose career spans 30 prodigious years, Zsa Zsa will guide the Top 12 i-Shiners in developing their aptitude in the field of music.
Zsa Zsa is also gearing up for the finale week of the Kapamilya primetime show Dyesebel. In the series, Zsa Zsa plays the role of the scheming villainess Ena Montilla, who is one of Dyesebel’s major antagonists.
On Sundays, Zsa Zsa is regularly seen as one of the main hosts of ASAP 19. She is one of the driving forces behind the sustained and consistent high ratings of the show where she puts her classy hosting skills to the fore as fused with her signature brand of musicality.
In film, Zsa Zsa recently finished shooting for the title role in Quantum Films’ M. (Mother’s Maiden Name). Written and directed by Zig Dulay, M. (Mother’s Maiden Name) is centered on Madame Bella (Zsa Zsa), a single working mother who is battling cancer. The film offers an insightful commentary on the disparity of the medical treatments available here in the country for the rich and the poor. M. (Mother’s Maiden Name) is set to participate in an international film festival and it is scheduled for a local mainstream theatrical release before the year ends.
In the music scene, Zsa Zsa has released her album under Polyeast Records titled Noon, Ngayon, Bukas, Kailanman…Palagi which is still out in the market. It contains 10 tracks including its carrier single Palagi.
“I feel so blessed and humbled at the same time for being part of such wonderful projects,” says Zsa Zsa.
