MANILA, Philippines - James Wright (photo) showcases his contemporary music style with the release of his self-titled debut album under GMA Records.
Containing five all-OPM songs, with music and lyrics crafted by Vehnee Saturno, James’ album is an introduction of a fresh-faced neophyte in the Philippine music industry. The collection of romance-driven songs lets James’ versatile voice shine.
Long before GMA Network’s reality talent show Anak Ko ‘Yan concluded, the 18-year-old Fil-Aussie from Hong Kong was already marked for showbiz. James’ Top 5 finish in the said talent search did not stop him from pursuing his dreams of becoming a full-fledged recording artist.
His lead single Sana’y Ikaw was used as the theme song of the primetime series Carmela. Meanwhile, James finds himself singing more sweet sentiments in his four other songs Ako’y Sa ‘Yo, Babe, Ikaw ‘Yon and Kung Hindi Ikaw.
