MANILA, Philippines - Get ready for a night of entertainment in a top-notch venue.
Catch Rachel Alejandro (photo) tonight as she performs live at The Peninsula Hotel Manila’s swanky Salon de Ning Bar, in the first of a series of shows leading up to two concerts to celebrate her 25th anniversary in the music industry later this year.
This is Rachel’s first solo show in quite some time, as she has been busy managing her diet food and healthy meal delivery service, The Sexy Chef. But despite working full time as an entrepreneur, Rachel still loves doing concerts and this time, she plans to showcase her well-known versatility in singing style, being able to switch from pop, to R&B to rock to Broadway tunes with ease. For instance, her repertoire in Salon de Ning will include something for everyone — her own most well-known songs, a tribute to her musical influences growing up like Michael Jackson, current hits and tunes from musicals she was a part of like Rock of Ages.
In just these past few months, Rachel and her sister, Chef Barni Alejandro-Rennebeck, have published their first book, The Sexy Chef Cookbook, which is now a bestseller at National Bookstore. Rachel and Barni will also be appearing in their very own TV show on Colours of Cignal Digital TV.
To reserve your table for Rachel at Salon De Ning, call 887-2888 local 6737. Also, catch The Sexy Chef sisters tomorrow, May 18 at Centrio in Cagayan De Oro. To order The Sexy Chef Cookbook, visit www.thesexychef.ph.
