KC says Paulo is not her BF; denies rumors that she's pregnant

MANILA, Philippines- KC Conepcion is not in a relationship with Paulo Avelino.

KC's statement came following speculations that the two have stopped their courtship  as can be deduced from her Instagram posts.

The model-actress clarified this in an interview with Elton Lugay which was published on the website The FilAm, dated May 3.

“Paulo Avelino is not my boyfriend yet,” she clarified. “I'm not committing to anyone right now. I have no commitments to anyone.”

KC adds that entering a relationship is not her priority at the moment, but believes that it will come “soon enough.”

“It's not my priority right now,” she said. “But it will be soon enough. Honest naman ako, e, alam ng mga taong involved kung ano 'yong state of mind ko ngayon or kung ano 'yong mga limitations ko.”

She also admits that, “I don't wanna be hurt, kakapagod. I'm taking it slow. Talagang very slow. I'm careful with my heart right now.”

She also said that she'd learned from her previous relationships saying, “I'm being good to myself, welcoming enough but also putting limits kasi masyado akong nagbigy dati. So [I learned] mag-iwan para sa sarili.”

Not Pregnant

KC also addressed rumors that she is pregnant that's why she suddenly moved to New York.

KC explained that she had to have a break after a series of projects that she did last year.

While hosting “X Factor Philippines,” she was working on the TV series “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” with Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby, and filming the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Boy Golden.”

“After doing Boy Golden, I had pneumonia,” she explained. “The doctors here said rundown 'yong katawan ko. I just realized my body was screaming out for a bit of rest, and probably it came to a point that I would really want to explore.

“I’ve always been the type to need rest cause it’s so difficult to do that in the Philippines. It’s a different world out there and everyone knows your whereabouts.”

Though enjoying her much-deserved rest, KC will not entirely leave the Philippines as she needs to shoot  for her "endorsements and guestings because I still have many contracts that I need to fulfill.”
