Alex emotional in one-on-one with 'Big Brother'

MANILA, Philippines - It was an emotional night for the Gonzaga sisters during Friday’s episode of ABS-CBN's “Pinoy Big Brother All In.”

During the episode, PBB housemate Alex Gonzaga was called to the house’s confession room for a one-on-one with “Kuya.”

At the confession room, Big Brother asked Alex about the necklace that she received from her sister, PBB host Toni Gonzaga.

The younger Gonzaga said she would always wear the necklace because she wants to remember Toni always while she's in the Big Brother House.

She then breaks down, admitting that she already misses her sister and then she opened up to Kuya.

“Kasi mabait naman siya. Hindi, mabait naman ang ate ko, pero kapag magkasama kami hindi ko nare-realize na mabait siya kasi nga minsan ano siya masyadong ate: protective, parang masyadong demanding na 'di mo alam kung may gusto ba patunayan sa pagiging panganay," she said.

“Pero kapag nagkahiwalay kami tapos mapapaisip ako tulad nagbigayan ng mga ganito, parang mapapaiyak ka na mabait din talaga siya. Gano’n kaya naiiyak ako minsan talaga."

Alex said they are not expressive to each other, but they open up to each other when they are facing problems.

“Kapag may problema ko, may problema siya sa maraming bagay sinasabi niya sa akin talaga. Tapos may mga times na pinagtatanggol siya ako sa mga tao, talagang pinoprotektahan niya ako. Pero hindi niya alam na alam ko.  Ewan ko, parang iba talaga ‘yong bonding namin,” she said.

She said that now that she's inside the Big Brother House, she came to realize how much she loves her family, her sister.

“Kasi 'di ba gano’n ‘yon? Mare-realize mo lang kung ga’no kaimportante sa ‘yo ang isang bagay kapag wala na siya sa tabi mo? Wala sila ngayon sa tabi ko," she said.

Though Toni doesn't verbally expresses her love to Alex, the younger Gonzaga said she's always touched by her sister's simple gestures to express it.

“Minsan nagdududa ako sasabihin niya, ‘siyempre ‘no, hindi naman! Hindi ko naman sila kapatid, kung kapatid ko sila.’ Pero sa loob-loob ko na lang... gano’n ako, sa loob ko na lang touched ako.

“Tsaka siyempre dalawa lang kami, e, magkapatid. So ano kami, kailangan namin ang isa’t isa.”

Outside the PBB House, Toni watched Alex open up to Kuya and heard their conversation about her and their relationship.

Asked for a message to Alex, Toni said: “Ngayon ko mas napatunayan dahil kay Kuya na ano, iba ‘yong samahan at pamamahalan ng tunay na magkapatid. Kasi alam mo kahit anong mangyari may hindi mang-iiwan sa ‘yo. So paglabas mo, nandito pa rin ako. Tapos tabi tayong matulog kasi ang tagal nating hindi nagkatabi. Miss you, love you!”
