MANILA, Philippines - Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2002 Karen Loren Agustin-Ostrea and Bb. Pilipinas International 2006 Denille Valmonte-Ostrea gathered their experiences and lessons which they have learned during their journey for the crown in a book titled The Secret of Beauty Queens.
It is a beauty pageant handbook that every aspiring beauty queen must have. The book is a collection of personal tips from their national and international pageants, effective Q&A lessons, catwalk techniques and other secrets that beauty queens have applied to win their crowns.
Published by Dave Almarinez, the book contains 116 pages and several photos of the authors during their pageant stints here and abroad. It was launched in Cerchio Grill and Lounge, Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City on April 8 and the e-book version will be available in Amazon.com end of April. It will be distributed nationwide in Fully Booked in May, National Book Store in June and Powerbooks in July.
