MANILA, Philippines - Jack Jones, the singer behind memorable songs What I Did For Love, She and Lollipops And Roses, is set to bring his own brand of romance to Manila this Valentine’s Day.
The balladeer will headline Jack Jones in a Valentine Concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Feb. 13 and at the Manila Hotel Tent on Feb. 14. Proceeds from the latter have been earmarked for Typhoon Yolanda survivors.
Jack rose to fame during the ’60s wherein he became famous not only for his hits but also for the fact that he was young, attractive and unlike most music idols of the time, he was well-groomed.
He has appeared in the movies and will soon be seen playing a nightclub singer in the acclaimed American Hustle. He has headlined his own TV specials, hosted the show Hullaballoo and guested in various series. He also performs in musical theater with the lead in Man From La Mancha as his most memorable role.
The concert is produced by Viva Live, Inc. and Redstone Media Productions.
