Camille Prats: ‘I don’t see anything wrong with getting married again’

MANILA, Philippines – Camille Prats feels it’s “too early to tell” if her relationship with John Yambao will end in the altar. However, the Kapuso star sees nothing wrong with getting married again.

“Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with getting married again, if it’s the right time, if it’s the right opportunity and right timing,” she said in a taped interview with GMA-7’s showbiz talk show “Startalk” aired Saturday, January 11.

“For now, it’s too early to tell na papunta na kami doon,” Camille added.

She further told “Startalk”: “Naramdaman ko na he not only wanted to be part of my life but he also wanted to be there for Nathan, more than anything else.”

The 28-year-old actress revealed last December that she and Yambao celebrated their “first year.”

It can be recalled that Camille lost her husband, Anthony Linsangan, to nasopharyngeal cancer in 2011.

Camille explained in an interview with Philstar.com that the “first year” they celebrated was a commemoration of “the whole thing of getting each other, adding “I’m happy because, honestly, at this point in my life, I never thought I’ll be in the position where I’ll be happy again.”

Full support

Meanwhile, the Kapuso actress said her family will give brother John Prats “full support” when he decides to get married to girlfriend Isabel Oli.

John and Isabel were rumored to have been engaged due to the actor’s Instagram post last December 31. The caption of the photo, which shows John kissing Isabel on the forehead, goes: “@isabelolifee next year magkasama na tayo pag pasko at bagong taon.” The two denied the rumors in an interview recently.

“Ang sa amin lang naman sa family, if ever they want to settle down kami naman full support. Kasi feeling naman namin, nasa tamang age na sila—actually, even more than that—para makapagstart ng family,” Camille said.

The star of the upcoming GMA-7 soap opera “The Borrowed Wife” added: “Feeling ko yun na rin yung gusto niyang mangyari. Siguro it comes with maturity. And maybe nahanap na rin niya yung taong gusto niyang makasama habang buhay.”

“Basically, from what we can see, they seem to be very happy together.”

Camille was the one who introduced Isabel, also a GMA-7 star, to John.
