Awkward? Anne, John Lloyd attend same event after slapping incident

MANILA, Philippines- Anne Curtis was forgiven by Prive Luxury Club part-owner JM Rodriguez.

This was after the bar incident between Anne and the group of John Lloyd Cruz, Phoemela Barranda, and JR Isaac, that occurred last November 23. The incident came out in the news a week after it happened.

As the news came out, Anne gave her statement through her Twitter account and apologized again to the involved parties.  Anne also said she has apologized to those she slapped and yelled at during the incident.

In a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal Tuesday night, December 3, JM and Anne shared the same stage  during the Cherry Mobile event—with JM hosting the event and Anne  as one of the brand endorsers.

During the event, JM introduced Anne saying, “My good friend, Anne Curtis,” and when the Kapamilya actress was on stage, the two hugged each other tight.

A day before the event, JM sent a statement to some entertainment writers and said “Privé is a club that respects the privacy of all the celebrities, models, VIPs that patronize our establishment. This is why we are called PRIVÈ. So this is the last we will comment on the matter. Because as mentioned the incident happened almost half a month ago and all parties have settled their issues privately.”

After the event, JM even posted a photo of her and Anne during the event and captioned it with “Celebrating Cherry Mobile success with my friend Anne Curtis!”

Among those who posted a comment on JM's photo was  Girlie Rodis said, "all well @jm_ro love @annecurtissmith" to which JM replied, "@showbizmanila there was never any problem actually"

Meanwhile, other reports said that John Lloyd was also in the same event being one of the brand’s endorsers as well.

However,  it was not confirmed if the two were able to meet backstage, as some reports say that John Lloyd was with Sarah Geronimo who is also a brand endorser.
