Apl de Ap joins efforts to help 'Yolanda' victims

MANILA, Philippines- Apl de Ap joined the ranks of celebrities helping the victims of super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the Visayas.

The Filipino-American artist announced in his Instagram account that he is doing a birthday concert on November 27 at the Hyve Bar in Bonifacio Global City, for the benefit of the typhoon's victims. He will be celebrating his 39th birthday.

With the photo Apl de Ap posted: “Come and support and join me for my bday party and 'going out to give' event”

Apl de Ap's fans will be asked to donate P200 each to be able to watch the birthday concert, where Billy Crawford, Mica Javier, and Jay-R are expected to perform.

Aside from the birthday concert, Apl also joined Smart Communications in sending help to typhoon-ravaged Tacloban City.

“On our way to tacloban to deliver communication with #helpph #smart for typhoon haiyan #prayforphilippines,” he shared in his Instagram account.
