7th annual Star Magic Ball bigger & brighter

MANILA, Philippines - Every year, the biggest and brightest stars as well as the up-and-coming personalities from the most successful star-building arm in Philippine showbiz gather for a grand night of get-together.

Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management group, will hold anew the Star Magic Ball.

Apart from the Star Magic talents, ABS-CBN VIPs, bosses and executives also grace the much-anticipated celebration.

The seventh Star Magic Ball will happen in the luxurious Fairmont Hotel, Makati City at 7 p.m. Artists and guests are expected to attend the grandest event in their suits and gowns in the all-white, black and champagne theme.

The occasion also marks the 21st year of Star Magic, which continues to build and hone future stars.

One of the Star Magic Ball’s highlights is the red-carpet parade, in which stars make their entrance in their formal and fashionable outfits created by top designers.

This year, the Star Magic family has gotten bigger. JC de Vera, Zia Quizon, Alex Gonzaga, Ynna Asistio and Ms. Chinatown 2013 Rolini Pineda are the newest additions to the Star Magic roster and first-time attendees of the Star Magic Ball.

Zia, who is making a name for herself as a singer, shares, “I feel so honored and blessed to be part of the Star Magic family. Di ko akalain na magka-career ako sa showbiz, let alone to be in the same family as some of the best in the business.”

She adds, “I’m so excited to go to the ball this year. I can’t wait to spend some time getting to know my new colleagues and friends.”

Rolini, who has decided to pursue a career in showbiz, shares, “I feel honored to ba part of Star Magic family. It’s flattering because not every aspiring actor gets this kind of opportunity and to be one makes me feel like I have something that they see in me. In fact, I’m grateful, especially to my mentors. I’m learning so much and still in the process of getting to know even more. It inspires me to work harder to achieve my dreams.”

Ynna, daughter of Nadia Montenegro, is equally excited and happy to be part of Star Magic.

“It just feels so good to be part of something that we have dreamt of,” she says. “I’m super excited. I’m finally seeing my dreams come true step-by-step.”

JC is also glad to be working with a new family. He says, “I’m really honored. This is my first time and I’m excited and I’m looking forward to meet other Star Magic artists.”

For her part, The Voice of the Philipopines host Alex Gonzaga simply says, “It feels magical!”
