Billy apologizes to Andi for breakup issue with Nikki

MANILA, Philippines - Billy Crawford said sorry to Andi Eigenmann for being linked in his breakup with Nikki Gil.

It can be remembered that Andi was rumored to be the third party that caused the breakup of Billy and Nikki.

During the press conference for their upcoming Star Cinema and Viva Films movie “Momzillas” on Tuesday, September 3, the Kapamilya actor-host admitted that he really became close to Andi during the shooting of the comedy film and that he didn’t mean harm to anyone.

“Andi became a friend of mine through the film as well. We became close, that's really true. And it wasn’t Andi’s fault. Kaya ako, I already apologized to Andi dahil nadadamay siya sa personal life ko. And bilang respeto ko rin naman sa lahat ng kasamahan ko dito,” he said.

The press conference, which was held at the Dolphy Theater, ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City, was also live-streamed on the Star Cinema website.

The “It’s Showtime” co-host explained he remained quiet about the issue because he believes people have already made up their mind about the controversy.

“So hahaba lang ng hahaba,” Billy explained.

He further explained, “So I’ve already closed the chapter, closed the book, and I’m ready to move on.”

For her part, Andi asked people to respect Billy’s statement regarding the issue.

To recall, Billy and Nikki announced their breakup late July. In his interview with ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “The Buzz,” Billy said the breakup “all boils down” to him and said there was no third party involved in the split. In a separate television interview, Andi said she had nothing to do with Billy and Nikki’s breakup.
