MANILA, Philippines - The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra will recreate the Magical Music of Disney at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo of the Cultural Center of the Philippines on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. Themes from the early classics to recent releases will take audiences on an aural journey to places where tales and myths of many cultures have originated. The program incorporates musical performances from The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, Little Mermaid, Mulan and many others.
The Magical Music of Disney is a concert intended for the whole family. Audiences are in for a unique show wherein timeless images are synchronized with the music to transport them to their favorite Disney musical moment. This concert of symphonic arrangements as provided by Disney Music Publishing has already been performed by 38 orchestras in nine countries around the world in the past three years.
