MANILA, Philippines - Cebu-raised Filipino-Italian pop singer Luigi D’Avola has started 2013 with the single Take A Chance and currently racking up radio charts, music channel’s Top 10 and teen pop demographic.
Eighteen-year-old Luigi debuted with Take A Chance — saccharine, bubble-gum pop track that speaks about moving way beyond limits — debuts atop the urban radio Top 10 lists including RX 93.1 at No. 5. The track is the latest to come off his forthcoming album to be released by Mecca Music in June.
Take A Chance music video hits 20,000 views on YouTube in three weeks and sent Luigi on MYX Channel Pinoy MYX Countdown’s Top 15 two weeks after its debut. Currently, the track’s music video is MYX Channel’s No. 5 on Daily Top 10 and No. 4 on Pinoy MYX Countdown.
Luigi was first introduced through SMART Telecomm’s Live More campaign with a music video for the song It’s Your Life joining Somedaydream and Champ Lui Pio. Currently, Luigi is doing live performances across Metro Manila with a growing fan base on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
