MANILA, Philippines - In the latest episode of Undercover Boss, president and CEO of Synagro, Bill Massa, trades in his office for a day in the plant. Founded in 1986, Synagro is the largest recycler of organic by-products in the US. It is a highly environmental company that works on reusing and producing renewable energy to provide sustainable solutions for communities across the nation.
As the new CEO of the company, Massa undertakes the tedious job as the episode’s undercover boss in hopes to get to know the company better. He sees the task as an opportunity to see what changes are in order to ensure the company’s growth and find out, personally, how his employees are adjusting to the recent changes implemented together with the recent turn-over of the administration. What works and what doesn’t? This is the question Massa wants to find an answer to as he goes in disguise.
See the big boss run the fertilizer machines, clear a lagoon full of sludge and performing maintenance. Will he be able to do the dirty jobs or will he get clogged down in the rigorous system? For years, Undercover Boss has been sending out the company executives to do the taxing jobs in their own factories. Will Massa be able to pull this one off? Will he be able to find the answers he is looking for? Find out if the undercover mission will blow up or be a huge success.
Undercover Boss Season 2 airs every Sunday at 8 p.m. with replays on Mondays at 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, the three quirky presenters of Top Gear, are back on the road and their wheels are hotter than ever. In the second episode for Season 8, you’ll see Jeremy road test two new amazing car models, a land of ice and a swearing chef. In other words, full of surprises, as always.
First, Jeremy test drives the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The 2013 Corvette is aluminum-framed and made up of carbon-fiber components making it the lightest and most balanced Corvette in the market. Powered by a 7 liter V8 engine and hand-built by skilled craftsmen, Chevrolet claims this machine is built to win. Another car up for road test is the new Jaguar XK Coupe. A stylish two-door vehicle and available in convertible, this coupe is designed for both the track and the back roads. As for power, the 2013 Jaguar XK Coupe is a 5 liter V8 engine, with a six-speed automatic transmission controlled through Jaguar’s distinctive rotary-style shift knob. Let’s see how both cars fare on the road when Jeremy takes them out for a spin.
On the other hand, Richard travels all the way up north to the freezing terrains of Iceland to race against a jet-powered kayak. Will he be able to do it? A guest star, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, also joins in on all the fun as he sets a track record not only for speed, but for swearing as well.
Top Gear airs Sunday nights at 9 with replays on Saturdays at 8 p.m.
