MANILA, Philippines - Mr. and Ms. Citizens of the World is a brainchild of Marissa del Mar, host of the OFW tele-magazine program aired Saturday nights at 9 on Aksyon TV 41, and showing internationally on Aksyon TV International.
Mr. and Ms. Citizens of the World was launched in October 2012 at the Glorietta Activity Center, in time for Buhay OFW’s first anniversary.
Buhay OFW is set to conclude the search and award the rightful winners with a grand Mr. and Ms. Citizen of the World Awards Night to be held on March 14 at the PAGCOR Grand Theater, Airport Casino Filipino in Parañaque City.

Prizes are impressive. Winners for the Most Successful Story and Most Inspiring Story will individually take home a cash prize of P25,000; a travel ticket to Cebu (for two, courtesy of 2Go Travel); three-days/two-nights stay in Cebu and Laoag, Ilocos Norte (for four persons from E Ganzon, Inc. group of companies); and a scholarship grant from ICCT Colleges.
The winners who will be declared as Buhay OFW Mr. and Ms. Citizens of the World will each receive a travel ticket to Boracay (via Batangas and Caticlan for four persons, courtesy of 2Go Travel), three-days/two-nights stay in Baguio (for four persons from E Ganzon, Inc.) and a scholarship grant from ICCT Colleges. They will also take home a cash prize of P50,000 each.
