MANILA, Philippines - Carmina Villarroel admitted that she is saddened over the approaching finale of her top-rating primetime drama series Lorenzo’s Time, which she topbills with ABS-CBN’s child wonder, Zaijian Jaranilla.
“I’m really sad that it’s ending. But I’m glad and very thankful that through this show, I was starred with Zaijian,” said the actress-TV host who values Lorenzo’s Time as it is her first teleserye since she returned to ABS-CBN. “When I saw Zaijian in May Bukas Pa, I truly wished that I’ll have the chance to work with him. So when I received the offer to be part of Lorenzo’s Time, I just said, ‘It’s a dream come true.’”
Carmina confessed how amazed she is at Zaijian’s talent as an actor. “He is one of a kind. His style of acting breaks through your heart; you’ll easily get carried away with his emotions. His talent is just pure,” she shared.
Now that Lorenzo’s Time is down to its last week, the plot continues to thicken as Enzo’s rare disease is back. How will his brother Archie (James Blanco) and his bestfriend Kathy (Carmina) help him get through the ordeal? Will Enzo be cured or will he die in the end?
Lorenzo’s Time will air its final episode on Oct. 5.
Also part of the cast are Gina Pareño, Joel Torre, Alfred Vargas, James Blanco, Rommel Padilla, Tess Antonio, Kakai Bautista, Gerard Acao, Vino Martinez, and Belle Mariano. It is under the direction of Jerome Pobocan and Tots Sanchez.
Lorenzo’s Time airs weeknights after Walang Hanggan.
