Love is in the air for Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo. Despite the break-up issues that seem to trouble the world of showbiz these days, the couple remains strong and steadfast in their relationship. They have celebrated their first anniversary during the recent Star Magic Tour in the US.
According to Zanjoe, Bea is a wife material and he sees himself marrying her someday. Zanjoe is already saving money and is planning to ask Bea to marry him after five years. Bea is ecstatic upon hearing the news. Who would not be? Bea says, “I’m happy because I want him to be serious rather than playing games with me. Malay natin in five years sana nga siya na pero marami pang pwedeng mangyari in five years.”
“Maybe in five, six years. For me, that’s the ideal but like what I’ve said we don’t know what will happen to us. Right now, it’s a work in progress. Ang relationship naman hindi lang basta nagustuhan mo siya, minahal mo siya, iyon na iyon,” she adds.
Indeed, five years is such a long time and anything can happen. But if Bea and Zanjoe want to have a happy ending, they need to work hard at their relationship. Right now, they have bright careers ahead of them and what matters most is that they are happy and they inspire each other.
Bea admits that there are times when they talk about marriage but it’s still too early to go into details.
Bea has a new series with John Lloyd Cruz while Zanjoe is in the series Precious Hearts Romances: Hiyas with Megan Young. Although they don’t often see each other these days, they call each other constantly to maintain communication.
What’s the secret for their strong relationship? “Trust. We trust each other and we are best friends. We tell each other everything. Nag-aaway din kami lagi, nagiging sweet din kami lagi. Nothing abnormal about it. It’s just a typical relationship na para sa amin (ay) very special kasi kami iyong very special,” Bea explains.
Daniel launches debut album
Daniel Padilla recently launched his debut album titled Hinahanap Hanap Kita under Star Records at the SM Skydome. The tracks include
Hinahanap Hanap Kita, Pagsubok, Paniwalaan Mo, Ako’y Sa’yo Ika’y Akin, Prinsesa and Grow Old with You.
Daniel is one of the hottest — if not the hottest — young teenage actors today. He comes from a prominent showbiz clan as he belongs to the young generation of Padillas (being the son of Rommel Padilla and Karla Estrada).
Daniel proves he has what it takes to be an actor in ABS-CBN shows like Gimik 2010, Growing Up and Princess and I, where he plays Gino dela Rosa, one of Kathryn Bernardo’s leading men who belongs to a rich and influential family.
His parents are definitely proud of his achievements. His dad Rommel has pieces of advice for him: “Always be humble and don’t forget to thank God and the people who support you.”
His loveteam with Kathryn has a massive following. He dedicates his album to her and their fans. What song in his album does he dedicate to Kathryn? “Pwede iyong Ako’y Sa’yo pero sinasabi nila inaangkin ko na raw si Kat so Prinsesa na lang.” But The Buzz told him that the song Grow Old With You is more suitable for her.
Kathryn was not able to attend the launch because of other showbiz commitments but she posted a picture on her Twitter account. In the photo, she was having dinner with Daniel on the night of the album launch.
Are we getting romantic signals from the picture and the album dedication of Daniel to his princess? What is the real status of their relationship now that they are always together during tapings of Princess and I? Daniel answers, “Kathryn is different from the other girls I have met. Siguro na kay Kathryn iyong mga tipo ng babae na gusto ko. And she makes me happy. Maghihintay ako kahit maputi na ang buhok ko at kung umabot man ako sa langit.”
If it’s not young love, I don’t know what it is.
