MANILA, Philippines - YouTube sensation Allison Williams will invite all of Letterman’s viewers to watch out for HBO’s newest TV series, Girls. Two years ago, Williams performed a mashup of Nature Boy and the theme song of Mad Men, A Beautiful Mine. It was an instant hit in the worldwide web and it actually earned her an invitation to Judd Apatow’s creation which is already set to premiere on HBO this month. Also, the head writer of Saturday Night Live, Seth Adam Meyers, brings his funny antics on the Letterman set as well. Plus, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real delivers a high-spirited performance that will surely entertain viewers on April 4.
Meanwhile, Kiefer Sutherland makes another trip on the late night show to “touch” upon Fox’s science-fiction drama, which boasts an international appeal with its multi-cultural cast. The show’s premiere was highly-anticipated in the different parts of the globe including the Philippines. Don’t expect Sutherland to give the entire plot and its twists on his guesting on Letterman, but be sure to tune-in for he still might spill some beans on its upcoming episodes. Another reason to watch Thursday’s episode, April 5, is the guesting of Eugene Levy, who plays as the father of Jason Biggs on the Pie movie series. Levy will most likely talk about the upcoming release of American Reunion, as the cast is reunited for another episode of jokes and some “birds and the bees” talk. And then, Nicki Minaj sashays while belting out some Super Bass tunes as she also promotes two of her newest singles, Turn Me On and Starships.
Late Show With David Letterman airs Tuesdays to Saturdays at 2 to 3 p.m. via Satellite with next day replays at 1 a.m. on TALKtv – Ch. 16 on SkyCable, Ch. 28 on Destiny and Ch. 21 on Cignal.
