Down the movie aisle with David

MANILA, Philippines - The stars are coming out this week to drum up interest for their respective film projects in The Late Show with David Letterman. Making appearances will be Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds for Safe House and Nicolas Cage for Ghost Rider 2. Also, scheduled are comedian David Spade and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Ringer will be airing a new episode on The CW today, and we have a sneak peek at what fans can expect from Sarah Michelle herself while chatting about topics including changing her priorities in life to her advice that others not live life on a scale. Then, futuristic rap-rave crew from South Africa Die Antwoord will perform its latest single I Fink You Freeky from the sophomore album, TEN$ION.

Denzel is heading back to the big screen and is going back to his

bad boy role roots as he stars opposite Ryan in the upcoming thriller from Daniel Espinosa, Safe House.

If you’re a fan of The Fray, it’s hard not to get excited about the show tomorrow, Feb. 8 when it sings Heartbeat from the Brendan O’Brien-produced album Scars & Stories.

Ryan visits on Feb. 9 to promote his latest flick Safe House, as rookie CIA agent Matt Weston which comes to theaters on Feb. 10 in North America by Universal Pictures. Singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley regales with arguably the hottest record coming out this side of spring break, Home, and fans should get excited that the record was inspired by them.

Nicolas reprises his role as Johnny Blaze in Warner Bros.’ new action-thriller Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, opening Feb. 17 as he goes on to explain where we find the (occasionally flame-skulled) stunt rider this time around. If you want to see The Kills in concert, now is your chance. The Kills is coming to perform the track Baby Says in support of its latest offering Blood Pressures.

Everyone loves a good laugh. Let David help you experience that on Feb. 11 when the Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee and SNL alum sarcastically shreds some of Tinseltown’s biggest stars with his comments. Soul legend Betty Wright sings from her recently released 17th studio album, Betty Wright: The Movie.
