Jericho Rosales looks forward to a promising 2012. He is very excited on his new ABS-CBN teleserye with Piolo Pascual and Christopher de Leon. He is happy that his longtime dream of working with Piolo is finally coming true.
Echo dismissed the rivalry issue between him and Piolo. He said the worst enemy is when you always think of competing with others. He is a team player and it’s a blessing if he receives an award as recognition for his acting.
Echo has the right mindset. What else does he need to prove? He is an actor, a singer, a songwriter and a product endorser. Echo has his fair share of ups and downs but he remains on top of his game. On Echo’s wishlist this year is to become a producer and director.
Toni shares B-day wish
Toni Gonzaga recently celebrated her birthday on The Buzz where she answered some tough questions. She denied the wicked whispers that she had a thing with Zanjoe Marudo, but she revealed that she became close to him when she was nursing a broken heart. Zanjoe was one of her leading men in the movie You Got Me together with Sam Milby. “There was a point in time na siya kasi iyong sumasalo sa akin when I was mending a broken heart.”
We asked Toni who among the boys hurt her in the past. “Sam Milby,” she curtly replied. She said they were still young then. But it seems like everything has been forgiven and forgotten.
It was inevitable not to mention direk Paul Soriano. Toni said that direk Paul is hotter than Sam because he did not hurt her. If they decide to tie the knot, Toni would tell her Mommy Pinty first the good news before her Daddy Bonoy. “Since she is a woman, she will understand more. It took my dad a year before he started talking to Paul.”
Toni is grateful for everything that’s happening in her life. “Kahit not-so-good, good (pa rin) because I always believe and I always hold on to the verse Romans 8:28, ‘Everything works for those who love God.’ If you really love the Lord and everything that’s happening in your life, even if there are uncertainties, you know He will make a way at the end of that trial or endeavor for it to have a good result because He’s prepared something better for you.”
Toni only wishes for more wisdom every year on her birthday. “Every year that’s what I really pray for because in this kind of business, you really need wisdom to discern and to make the right decisions in life.” She cannot ask for anything more because God showers her with abundant blessings.
At the end of the interview, Toni completed the sentence “Ngayong 2012, si Toni ay...”
“Magpapatuloy na mamamayagpag. O bakit, dapat maging positibo tayo sa buhay natin!”
Happy Birthday, Toni!
