All set for Pambansang Muziklaban

MANILA, Philippines - A new rock legend is about to make its mark in the Pinoy rock music history as Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban Rock Challenge is set to host its grand finals on Jan. 28 at the Aseana City open grounds.

The amateur rock band competition is scheduled to bring together a spectacle of thunderous rock music and unadulterated talent with five bands ready to show off their own astig Pinoy music compositions.

Making it to the list of contenders is metal rock band Curbside, which will take you for a ride with its solid tunes. Hold on to the edge of your seats as five-piece group Mind of Clay parades its punk rock acts. Be on your feet with the out-of-this-world routines of experimental band Zephaniah.

Meanwhile, get ready for heart-thumping death metal stunts from the pride of Cebu Leviticus, and be thunderstruck by brutally heavy and melodic sounds of Davao-based metal core band David vs Goliath.

After winning in the semi-final round, the rock groups are keyed up to take their biggest leap to rock stardom by showing their most kick-ass performances at the Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Finals stage.

One of them will have the chance to win the title Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban 2011 Grand Champion and will take home P1M worth of prizes. A special prize of P50,000 will also be given to the band with the best Red Horse Beer jingle.

Joining the rock event are Red Horse Beer ambassadors Lovi Poe, Ely Buendia and Pepe Smith.

Now on its 13th year, Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban fortifies its legit authority of discovering the new breed of rock icons. It continues to be a venue for cultivating passion for original Pinoy music and encouraging creativity among younger musicians.
