MANILA, Philippines - The lies continue to pile up when the long-awaited mid-season return of Pretty Little Liars Season 2 on etc begins Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. The show has fans on the edge of their seats as its mix of mystery, scandal, intrigue and nail-biting suspense proves to be a hit formula with audiences.
Based on the best-selling book series by Sara Shepard, Pretty Little Liars follows the lives of four friends who start to receive messages from someone named “A,” who mysteriously knows all of their darkest secrets. The series stars Lucy Hale as Aria, Troian Bellisario as Spencer, Ashley Benson as Hanna and Fil-Canadian Shay Mitchell as Emily.
When Season Two picks up on, we see the liars in hot water after they are found in possession of the shovel that was used to kill their best friend Alison. Tasked to do community service, the girls find themselves at the side of the road picking up trash. If things weren’t already hard enough, the four friends will also face heartache as they each deal will their own share of boy troubles.
