MANILA, Philippines - Based on the 1973 horror classic of the same title by George Romero, The Crazies is reinvented by director Breck Eisner who tackled the present-day kind of viruses that could cause massive death or irreversible insanity turning populace into uncontrollable zombies. The blockbuster film is now on VCD and DVD released this week by C-Interactive Digital Entertainment with subtitles for deaf and hearing impaired.
The DVD copy of The Crazies is packed with additional 70 minutes that includes commentaries, behind-the-scenes, visual effects, among other things.
