MANILA, Philippines - Jack TV dishes up a new animated sitcom titled Bob’s Burgers. It follows a third-generation restaurateur named Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) who runs a burger joint named Bob’s Burgers.
With the help of his wife and their three kids, Bob has big dreams for his business. Even with his slimy counters, awful location and not so good service, Bob is convinced his burgers are enough to keep him and his family happy.
Supporting Bob’s dreams is his wife Linda (John Roberts), a musical theater fan who helps out by grinding meat for the burgers. Sunny Linda is the total opposite of Bob, but together, they raise their kids as well as they know how. Their eldest Tina (Dan Mintz) is a 13-year-old hopeless romantic. Socially awkward, Tina works the grill to minimize interaction with customers. Middle child Gene (Eugene Mirman) is an aspiring musician and a prankster. Serving up more jokes than burgers, Gene can usually be found outside in his burger costume giving out samples or shouting through megaphone. Youngest daughter Louise (Kristen Schaal) is most enthusiastic about the restaurant, but her weird sense of humor normally means her schemes don’t go to plan.
Right next door to Bob’s Burgers is It’s Your Funeral Home and Crematorium, an un-ideal neighbor for a restaurant. Right across the street is Jimmy Pesto’s Pizzeria, Bob’s biggest competition. Unlike Bob, Jimmy doesn’t care about the quality of his food; it’s all about the money.
Bob’s Burgers serves family fun every Thursday.
