UPOU to graduate 213 in 2011

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines Open University will be conferring degrees to 213 students on its 15th Commencement Exercises on May 7, 6 p.m., at the UPOU Oblation Park in Los Baños, Laguna. The commencement speaker will be UP System president Alfredo E. Pascual.

Receiving their diplomas are 34 undergraduate and 178 graduate students. Thirty-one of them are graduates as of Summer 2009, 47 as of first semester SY 2009-10, and 135 as of semester SY 2009-10.

Degrees to be awarded will be in these programs: Associate in Arts, Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Environment and Natural Resources Management, Diploma in Language and Literacy Education, Diploma in Mathematics Teaching, Diploma in Research and Development Management, Diploma in Social Studies Education, Diploma in Science Teaching, Graduate Diploma in Distance Education, Master of Arts in Nursing, Master of Development Communication, Master of Distance Education, Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management, Master of Information Systems, Master of Hospital Administration, Master of Public Health, Master of Public Management, and PhD in Education.
