Bianca to Twitters: Be responsible

One of the most eloquent, educated and socially involved personalities in showbiz is Bianca Gonzalez. Bianca espouses several causes such as the environment, children’s welfare and the responsible use of mass media. Bianca has put to good use her being a host and celebrity. She is currently the United Nations Ambassador for Children’s Rights and as such, is very vocal about issues affecting children’s well being. As a child advocate, Bianca has set up her own foundation called Teach Kids To Learn which aims to educate children about their rights as well as to protect them from unnecessary harm.

An avid Twitter user with followers reaching to hundreds of thousands, Bianca has also called on users of the social networking site to be more responsible in their tweets.

Kaya ko namang panindigan,” she said.

Just like kailangan natin igalang ang opinyon ng bawat isa,” she explained.

She is also hoping people will use the social networking sites responsibly. “Sana gamitin itong mga social networking sites sa responsableng paraan kasi napakagandang tool nito para maka-connect tayong lahat sa isa’t isa,” she said.
