Pacquiao vs. Mosley at SM Cinemas

MANILA, Philippines - Boxing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch the fight of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Shane Mosley in real time at all SM Cinemas on May 8 at 9 a.m.

They can cheer for our boxing hero, who has brought much honor to our country as he takes on the current WBO World Welterweight Champion the same time it is ongoing at Nevada, Las Vegas. The screens at SM Cinemas will give them a front seat view of the match in the comfort of the movie theaters.

Mosley who started his pro career in 1993 had fought 34 times by 2000, amassing a 34-0 (32) record and beating the undefeated Philip Holiday to win the IBF Lightweight title. He then relinquished his Lightweight title to move up two divisions, facing Oscar de la Joya for the Welterlight title. Known as one of the world’s greatest fighters, Mosley is known for his hand speed and power punch, and has 46 win record against his opponents, 39 of which were knock outs.

Pacquiao, who is much younger, is the No. 1 pound for pound boxer in the world, proving his ability by knocking down some of the greatest fighters in the world like Juan Manuel Marquez, David Diaz, Oscar de la Joya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Angel Cotto, Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito. He is an eight division world champion, and is in a class of his own: The first boxer in history to win 10 world titles, the first to win eight weight divisions, and the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He was named Fighter of the Decade by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) and has been named Fighter of the Year by the BWAA and the Ring in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
