MANILA, Philippines - Some jobs get easier over time, but parenting is one job that will never get easy as the characters of 2nd Avenue’s critically-acclaimed drama Parenthood find out in their second season. The adaptation of the 1989 film is again back with the star-studded cast of Lauren Graham, Peter Krause, Craig Nelson, Erika Christensen and Dax Shepard as parents who must deal with the unexpected twists and turns of life.
Premiering tomorrow, Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. is the slice-of-family-life drama that will leave you cherishing your loved ones. Following three generations of the Braverman family, from grandparents, to parents to children, the program shows each individual family member deal with their parenting troubles, whether as a parent or a child.
The Braverman’s are made up of Sarah (Graham), a financially challenged single mother of two teenagers who has just moved back home. Welcoming her back to the nest are her headstrong father Zeek (Nelson, The Incredibles) and peacekeeper mom Camille (Bonnie Bedelia, Die Hard), who unknown to their children are dealing with their own problems. Her younger brother Crosby (Shepard, Baby Mama), younger sister Julia (Christensen, Traffic) a successful corporate attorney, mother to a five-year old girl and wife to stay-at-home dad Joel (Sam Jaeger, Eli Stone). And the eldest of the Braverman kin, Adam (Krause, Six Feet Under), who is husband to Kristina (Monica Potter, Trust Me) and dad to teenage daughter Haddie and son Max.
