MANILA, Philippines - Looking for a fascinating trip? Come and be amazed with life-like, robotic dinosaurs at the Lost Island: Dinosaurs Alive Exhibit, to open in December, at the second level Carousel Court, Festival Supermall.
The exhibit will feature life-size dinosaurs controlled by computer programs that enable the dinosaurs to execute realistic movements. The models also have synthetic rubber skin, much like the real thing.
Kids will be thrilled to see these creatures breathing and moving around the impressive recreation of its natural habitat. The advanced technology used for the dinosaurs was developed in Kokoro, the robotic capital in Japan.
Visitors will learn more about these pre-historic reptiles as actual fossils, artifacts and skeletons of these creatures will also be slated at the exhibit. Myths and trivial information such as the evolution of these creatures will be revealed.
The exhibit will run from December 2010 to 2012, at the Festival Supermall in the Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It is organized by Festival Mall in cooperation with Fun Attraction Sales Corporation (FASCOR).
Festival Supermall has five anchor stores, over 600 specialty stores, boutiques and kiosks, a total of 2,300 multilevel parking slots, two indoor amusement parks for kids and teens, food outlets and 10 state-of-the-art cinemas.
