MANILA, Philippines - Fall in love all over again with the timeless hits of Dionne Warwick (photo) as the international performer goes center stage on Nov. 27 at the Araneta Coliseum featuring Arthur Manuntag and on Nov. 28 at Cebu Waterfont Hotel.
Now happily celebrating her 50th year in Hollywood, a gala was recently held in her honor at the Lincoln Center. One of the highlights of the event was a performance with her son David Eliot.
The celebration also marked the release of her autobiography titled My Life, As I See It. Co-authored with David Freedman Wooley that tells the story of her life, from her childhood in East Orange, New Jersey, living in a two-family home with her parents, brother, and sister, to her overwhelming success as an international hitmaker.
Aside from her musical achievements Dionne is also the United Nations Global Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization and the United States Ambassador of Health.
