MANILA, Philippines - Charice Pempengco has come a long way from her humble beginnings as an amateur singing contestant. Now she has the distinction of being the first Asian artist to have a Top 10 album in the US Billboard chart and being named the Most Talented Girl in the World by Oprah Winfrey. Upcoming for the petite singer with a big voice is a stint in the popular TV series Glee. She recently showcased her outstanding singing prowess, which is already known internationally, to her Pinoy fans during her concert series at Newport City, McKinley Hill and Eastwood City. The newly-opened banquet facilities of Eastwood Richmonde Hotel played host to Charice Live! press conference while the Richmonde Hotel Ortigas became her home during the Manila stop of her international concert tour.
