MANILA, Philippines - Jack TV has 70 nominations for 12 of its shows at the 62nd Primetime Emmy awards.
Those with one nomination each are My Life on The D-List, Family Guy and first-time nominee Late night with Jimmy Fallon which Jack TV airs live via satellite every Tuesday to Saturday at 2 p.m. Survivor, which premieres its 21st season on Jack TV next month, earned three Emmy nominations including a nominee for host Jeff Probst.
The Simpsons pulls in four nods this year including Outstanding Animated Program, adding to its title of most nominated program in Emmy history with 126 nominations to date. Saturday Night Live, on the other hand, adds 12 more nominations to its record.
Returning in September to Jack TV with the latest season close to the US, The Big Bang Theory scored five nominations for its third season. House has three nominations and Hugh Laurie’s sixth nomination as the show’s title character.
In the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category, three Jack TV leading ladies battle it out for the crown: Lea Michele (Glee), Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation ) and previous winner of the award Tina Fey (30 Rock). Competing for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy are funny men Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory, Matthew Morrison (Glee), Steve Carell (The Office) and last year’s winner Alec Baldwin (30 Rock).
