Ready or Not dance eliminations set

MANILA, Philippines - The first elimination round of the Young JV Ready or Not Dance Off has started last June 5 at SM Manila. The competing groups/crews recreated the dance moves from Young JV’s music video Shake Shake. The first place went to Bacboys. Second placer was Philippine Hip Dance Crew and third was Doharikalz.

In the elimination rounds, crews must create a three-minute dance piece with songs of their choice, but should include Shake Shake within the mix. There is no maximum or minimum number of songs or recordings that may be used in the routine. Songs may be edited to enhance choreography and personal performance. Shake Shake choreography should be 1.5 minutes (approximately) of the whole piece.

The next legs of the dance off are tomorrow, June 19 at SM North Edsa and on June 25, SM Megamall.

Those who pass the eliminations will move on to the grand finals on July 10 at A Venue.

The crew with the Top 3 highest scores will win first place, second place and third place. First place will receive P80,000, second, P50,000 and third, P20,000.

Shake Shake is included in Young JV’s 15-track debut album titled Ready or Not which is available in record stores nationwide. It is distributed by PolyEast Records and produced by Doin’ It Big Production.
