MANILA, Philippines - Apo Hiking Society bids a bittersweet farewell to its fans as it marks the final chapter of the group’s career in a concert titled Paalam nAPO on May 27, 28 and 29, 8 p.m. at the Music Museum.
The once-in-a-lifetime musical event signals the official retirement of Apo. The series of shows chronicles Apo’s body of work and achievements which, to this day, remains unrivalled by peers in the industry. The concert will showcase the friendship that Jim Paredes, Boboy Garrovillo and Danny Javier forged through the spirit of brotherhood.
Jim, Boboy and Danny are considered the proponents of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). The trio’s career encompasses over four decades highlighted by 22 full-length, award-winning studio albums; two successful tribute albums; a catalogue of over 40 original hits; and two pioneering variety shows.
Apo says they are excited sharing their final concert with fans, friends and colleagues in the industry.
Paalam nAPo is presented by Jollibee, Business World, Barangay LSFM 97.1, Crossover 105.1 and Jam 88.3.
Tickets are priced at P3,500 (lower orchestra), P3,000 (upper orchestra), P2,500 (orchestra sides) and P750 (balcony).
