MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s Precious Hearts Romances’ newest series titled Impostor features Pinoy Big Brother Double-Up winners Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros and Sam Milby and Maja Salvador.
Based on Martha Cecilia Classic, Impostor is a story of a provincial lass named Devin who was forced to take the persona of a well-known model Mariz. Conflicts arise when Devin falls in love with Mariz’s husband and is puzzled on whether to confess the truth or live a lie.
Impostor is the first teamup of Sam and Maja, first drama series of the Melason and first time for Maja to portray two different roles.
Maja shares she accepted the project because of the challenging role, “I’m excited about Impostor. I have two different characters here. Si Mariz sobrang sexy, si Devin naman kengkoy.”
Asked about his teamup with Sam, Maja says, “I’m lucky because Sam agreed to team up with me, even if there are so many people out there he can partner with.”
Like Maja, Sam is happy with the new partnership, “It’s my first time to be paired with Maja. I’m enjoying it. We’re having a lot of fun during tapings.” Sam is Anthony, a rich businessman and love interest of Maja’s character.
The Melason tandem is also happy with the break.
“We’re every happy Una kasama ko ang mga idol ko na sina Maja at saka si Sam. Tapos binigyan kaagad kami ng pagkakataon sa isang teleserye,” says Jason who plays Popoy, a simple fisherman.
According to Melai who also plays Devin, “Sam and Maja are very nice. Love na love nila kami kasi palagi nila kaming ginagabayan.”
Jason adds, “Napakarami na po nilang naituro sa amin na iba’t ibang style at technique sa drama.”
Also in the cast are Jon Avila, Precious Lara Quigaman, Bobby Andrews, Long Mejia, Yayo Aguila, Raquel Villavivencio and Izzy Canillo.
