MANILA, Philippines - Today is a red-letter day again for the Fil-Hairdressers Cooperative led by president and founding chairman Ricky Reyes.
It is the day that kicks off the 26th Hair and Make-up Trends, an event that makes every hairdresser and make-up artist in the country excited to level up his or her craft and at the same time showcase unbridled talent on aesthetic make-up and hair.
The whole day affair gathers close to 7,000 participants from all over the Philippines and converge at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) for day-long seminar workshops, skills training, demonstrations and exchange of ideas, and showcase products from 50 trade exhibitors and product samplers.
It is also the day where the best of the bests compete in the different categories on hair and make-up trends. The competition showcases the strength and talent of the regional winners in these categories.
The national winner will represent the country at the 14th Hair Asia Olympics in Seoul, Korea in November.
