MANILA, Philippines - Shine! DOT Com Tutorial, Enrichment & Music School welcomes summer with the opening of its annual personality development and enrichment workshop for boys and girls aged seven to 17. As parents of former students would attest, the children will learn a lot while having fun by taking part in the various classes to be taught in the Shine! Personality Development Workshop. Individual lessons on piano, voice, guitar, violin, flute and drums are also being offered. Advanced Academic Lessons and Review may also be availed of for those who want to shine academically.
Shine! Personality Development summer classes, which will begin on April 20 and end on May 15 will include singing, dancing, acting, public speaking, social graces good grooming and modeling, allowing children and teens to enhance their talents while developing confidence and meeting new friends. Lawyer Dot Ramos-Gancayco, president and owner of Shine! DOT Com is proud of this summer’s line-up of teachers which include Raymond Roldan (for singing — he studied Music, Major in Voice, at the University of the Philippines, has completed a course in Italian Opera, finished a music course in Barcelona, Spain and has joined voice competitions abroad); Gail Cowper (for Modeling, Good Grooming and Social Graces — she is an Ateneo University graduate and former model); Julius Quitalig (for Dancing — he is a former member of Powerdancers); and Miko Letargo (for Public Speaking and Acting — he is a Mass Communications graduate at the University of Santo Tomas who is presently a director and scriptwriter for special events.
For a workshop fee of P5,000, kids and teens will embark on a three-week workshop every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday until May 15 at the Celebrity Sports Club (where parking and security are available). The program will culminate in a big presentation that will showcase the student’s talents. Students who enroll in pairs will get to enjoy special discounted workshop rates, interested parties may visit Shine!
