MANILA, Philippines - After 13 years of providing non-stop concert party on TV every weekend, GMA 7’s S.O.P. will bid viewers goodbye today, 11:45 a.m. with unforgettable performances from Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Jaya and Janno Gibbs.
The final S.O.P. concert party will air live from GMA Network’s Studio 7 with the best performances from the constellation of Kapuso stars guaranteed.
Regine, Ogie, Jaya and Janno will help viewers reminisce in their special back-to-back-to-back presentation. Jay-R and Kyla will also deliver a remarkable production number.
The farewell presentation will likewise serve as a reunion of previous hosts and featured groups including Cacai Velasquez and Bernadette Allyson, who were among the original hosts of the show, Dingdong Dantes, Rufa Mae Quinto, Gabby Eigenmann, Angelika dela Cruz, Harry Santos, Mo Twister, Roxanne Barcelo, Brenan Espartinez, Lindsay Custodio, Regine Tolentino, Sugarpop, You’ve Got Male, Starband, Broband and today’s popular female trio, La Diva.
Moreover, S.O.P. heartthrobs and balladeers like Aljur Abrenica, Marvin Agustin, Gian Magdangal, Kris Lawrence, Geoff Taylor, Chris Cayzer, together with Covergirls Heart Evangelista, Carla Abellana, Lovi Poe, Bianca King, Glaiza de Castro, Frencheska Farr, Julianne San Jose and Mae Flores will join the party to serenade the viewers.

To make the show more memorable, GMA will present its newest kantaserye titled Diva, topbilled by Regine together with Mark Anthony Fernandez, Rufa Mae, TJ Trinidad, Glaiza and Jaya, in her first acting stint on TV. Boboy Garovillo and Randy Santiago plus Ynna Asistio and Gloria Diaz will also guest in the show.

S.O.P. won the Best Musical Variety award for several years in various award-giving bodies such as Star Awards for Television (2000, 2001, 2002, 2008), Golden Screen Awards (2005) and winner of the Best Entertainment Program Catholic Mass Media Awards (2009). The musical variety show was also one of the finalists in the New York Festivals for TV Programming and Promotions category (1999, 2001, 2004 and 2007) and in the 2006 Asian TV Awards Musical Variety category.
