(First of two parts)
Merry Christmas to everyone!
When I was a child I would come up with a list of all my wishes for Christmas. I would hang it on our Christmas tree (a real pine tree, of course since we never use plastic ones in those days) and hoped that Santa would visit and make all my wishes come true. And believe it or not, Santa always fulfilled my wishes. Today, I still have my Christmas wishes but I no longer hang them in Christmas trees.
Here is the song titled My Grown Up Christmas List (lyrics by Linda Thompson with music by David Foster and recorded by Natalie Cole, Amy Grant, Michael Bublé and Kelly Clarkson) which I dedicate to everyone. I have also asked some stars to name five wishes for Christmas. Read on.
Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Well, I’m all grown up now
And still need help somehow
I’m not a child but my heart still can dream
So here’s my life-long wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself, but for a world in need
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal the heart
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list
As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely, wrapped beneath the tree
Well, heaven surely knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal a hurting human soul
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal the heart
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end,
This is my grown-up Christmas list
What is this illusion called
The innocence of youth
Maybe only in our blind belief
Can we ever find the truth
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal the heart
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end,
This is my grown-up Christmas list
This is my only life-long wish
This is my grown-up Christmas list

Amy Perez — 1) Wish to have my own talk show; 2) to have a baby girl so I have naman kakampi; 3) good health always for my parents and entire family; 4) Kung material aspect naman, I really wish to have a small car ‘yung matipid sa gas. But all in all wala na akong mahihiling pa because God has been so good to me. He always provides for all. 5) Our prayer is for me to be free so that in the eyes of God and the people lalo na to our kids, all is legal para super happy na kami ni Carlo.
